More than 300,000 Long Islanders struggle with food insecurity. The Long Island Harvest Food Bank has been at the forefront of hunger relief on Long Island since 1992. Providing not only food throughout Long Island, but also innovative programming and a network of community peers, the Long Island Harvest Food Bank has only one goal, eliminate hunger.
As in previous years, the team at Allegiant Health banned together and collected over 100 pounds of food to support this worthy charity.
We encourage everyone to do the same in their neighborhoods and together, maybe we can wipe out hunger in our country.
