Compression Operator
Department: Manufacturing
Reports to: Supervisor Manufacturing
POSITION OBJECTIVE
To operate compression machines and perform in-process verifications to assure tablet quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate tablet press machines and troubleshoot operation
- Monitor tablet quality such as hardness, thickness, weight, friability
- Clean and maintain equipment and production rooms
- Follow all cGMP requirements as detailed in SOPs
- Document all activities in Master Production Records
- Communicate any deviations to Supervisor
- Provide additional support and assistance on tasks and projects as directed by management
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in compression operations
- Ability to perform basic math, read, write
- Must work as part of a team
