John Zhong, VP, Product Development
As Vice President of Product Development, John Zhong heads the company’s new product research and development initiatives. His overall responsibilities include brand and generic product development for over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical and nutritional supplements, as well as providing support for raw material sourcing. In addition, innovations in chewable flavoring technology, process optimization, troubleshooting and various aspects of manufacturing are part of his job description.
Before joining Allegiant Health, Mr. Zhong held a variety of research scientist positions in the medical, pharmaceutical and nutritional industries at University of Kansas, University of Minnesota, Zhejiang Academy of Medical Science and Zhejiang Psychiatric Research Institute in China.
