C-reactive protein (CRP) levels are a direct marker for aging arteries. By lowering the levels of CRP in the body through Omega-7 supplementation, inflammation is reduced. There is a direct correlation between the reduction of inflammation and improved cardiovascular health, including lowering the risks of heart disease, heart attack, stroke, memory loss and impotence, and reducing premature wrinkling.

In addition, studies have shown that the active ingredient in OmeCardia® can decrease fatty liver and insulin resistance, lower blood sugar, decrease triglyceride and LDL (bad) cholesterol levels, while increasing HDL (good) cholesterol levels*.

Omega-7, also referred to as Palmitoleic Acid (POA), is found naturally in macadamia nuts, sea buckthorn fruit and fish such as anchovies. However, both macadamia nuts and sea buckthorn fruit contain Palmitic Acid (PA), a substance that may cause inflammation, negating the positive effects of POA, and potentially causing harm to pancreatic beta cells, a hazard to diabetic and pre-diabetic individuals*.

OmeCardia® by Allegiant Health utilizes Purified Palmitoleic Acid derived from fish in a proprietary extraction process that eliminates saturated fatty acid and expresses “purified” beneficial Palmitoleic Acid.

OmeCardia® is available in a one-a-day formulation, in a package of 30 soft gelatin capsules. Due to the contractual exclusivity of this product, OmeCardia® is only available to our customers through select channels and is not currently offered in retail stores. Allegiant Health will announce once the product is made available to the general public.
